The Polar Vortex

For the third winter in a row, the polar vortex is on the march again, dipping southward from the North Pole to drive a blast of bitter cold wind, ice and snow that disrupted travel from Georgia to New England.

Horses Coping with the Polar Vortex

Horses generally cope remarkably well even with extremely cold weather as long as they have a shelter or hedge to ensure that they can find protection from the elements, have access to an adequate supply of clean water, and a constant supply of forage (for example hay).

Here is a phantasy digital art rendition of a horse stuck in the middle of a polar vortex; while the polar bear looks quite happy, the horse is also looking quite well.

She writes about the young rider and horse: “This is Hunter, a miracle preemie child, who is THE most loving, caring boy you’ll ever meet. He feeds the horses daily and has to hug each one. He is riding Connor, an off track Standardbred horse. His registered name is ConSealed.

“He is the absolute kindest, most versatile horse I’ve ever met. Trail rides anywhere, cross trained for English/Western Dressage, competes in Combined Driving. We’re interested in more therapeutic work with him for Rides for Heroes Veteran program. Connors sleigh pictures have been widely published and he’s a poster boy for OTT Stb’s. He can sit for months and children can get on and he never puts a foot wrong. He watches over our therapeutic miniature horses.” ~ Rita Douville Bellinger

End of Year Website Check 2015

As we close out the Year 2015, let’s discover how we can make your Internet presence even better by submitting your ideas of text, interactive and photo elements you would like to see on your old website.

Look at your website to see if there is something that should be made more  prevalent or attractive.  Read and check your content for outdated entries and spelling errors; it’s often the easiest  to fix, and it makes the biggest difference in visitor’s browsing experience, closed sales and search engine rankings.

Happy New Year 2016

Christmas Greetings 2015

It’s that time of the year again and I suppose that you are putting together  some presents along with preparing your harness, bridle and saddles for a nice Christmas ride . You must be very busy these days, as well as I and as a two-horse owner and website manager. I want to thank all past and present customers who trusted and supported my web development skills in various ways.

To those with or without a working website for their training facility, farm or riding stable: have you ever thought about how your business would benefit from an online store, events calendar, photo album, or a daily blog if it could make one? Let’s imagine, what that could look like and do for you as we close out the year 2015.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Christmas Greetings 2013

We are enjoying the Advent season! Advent is a four-week season leading into the Christian celebration of the arrival of Jesus Christ, in whom Christians believe God to have taken human form to live on earth, even suffering by the hand of men to prove God’s love and promise that death is not the end of human existence.

Christmas 2013 greetings.
Christmas lies just ahead!
